Microneedling

What is MicroNeedling

MicroNeedling is a highly effective skin therapy procedure that involves a multitude of microneedles that vertically pierce the skin. This helps to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, acne, and wound scars. As a result, this procedure induces natural collagen production and is similar to fractional laser treatments, laser resurfacing, and chemical peels, but without the side effects and minimal social downtime.

  • MicroNeedling uses a device with tiny, electronically controlled, vibrating micro-needles in its tip

  • A light serum is placed on the face and the micro-needling device glides over it in a smooth, comfortable manner

  • Treatments are precisely controlled to move to a set depth and at a set speed

  • The skin heals quickly with a minimum of side effects

  • Treatments will stimulate collagen, smooth acne scars, wrinkles, and other skin texture problems

  • Can be used for all skin types and colors

  • FDA-approved

To give this treatment an extra boost, pair it with Laser Genesis to create The Bella!

What areas can be treated

MicroNeedling can safely be used on nearly all parts of the body with the most frequent treatments being on the

  • Face

  • Neck

  • Decollete

  • Arms

Microneedling can also be paired with PRP for a Vampire Facial. This treatment reduces the appearance of scars and helps to build collagen.

Treat hard to reach places around the eyes, nose, & lips

MicroNeedling has gained tremendous popularity due to its small size and ability to treat hard to reach places around the eyes, nose, and lips. Additionally, as it is not a laser, there are no issues with skin type and color and can be used safely in darker skinned patients.

The procedure is quick & effortless

Each facial treatment can range 30 minutes to 60 minutes and can be repeated every 4-6 weeks. Improvement can be seen with each treatment but a series of 3-5 treatments is best to achieve optimal results.

How is micro-needling different than a needle roller

Needle rollers use needles for skin resurfacing but are often too large and unwieldy for tight areas. They are also dependent on hand pressure, so the depth of penetration varies depending on the amount of pressure exerted and the softness of the skin, while the depth of our micro-needling is very precise, as it is manually controlled with an electronic dial. There is also lateral trauma to the skin when the needles on a roller pull out of the skin as the wheel turns. This does not happen with our micro-needling treatment, which relies only on vertical needle action.
